Ponniyin Selvan Box Office: Mani Ratnam's epic becomes first Kollywood film to cross nearly Rs 200 crore in Tamil Nadu
Filmmaker Mani Ratnam's historical drama Ponniyin Selvan: 1 has broken domestic and international box office records.
Ponniyin Selvan has now crossed nearly Rs 200 crore in Tamil Nadu, surpassing Kamal Haasan's Vikram to become
the highest-grossing film in Tamil cinema. According to trade expert Manobala Vijaybalan the film touched the milestone on day 17,
becoming the first Tamil film in history. Ponniyin Selvan is earning Rs 450 crore at the global box office. Manobala Vijaybalan tweeted,
