Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 set to inherit Overwatch 2's bad parts Overwatch 2 has been having problems since its launch.
The free-to-play team shooter has a poor chat feature, Character Lockout, which isn't going to be a problem with the game's need
for SMS Protect. Players must link a phone number to the account before starting, prepaid phones are not eligible,
are not able to access the free title. Blizzard's claim that security helps fight accounts is an unnecessary way to enter the game
from the player's point of view, since you can't exit the security feature. It appears that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
will have a similar barrier to entry. Battle.net's phone notification page, as seen by VGC, states that Call of Duty:
Modern Warfare 2 newly created Overwatch 2 accounts require a phone number for newly created Call of Duty:
Warfare accounts. Will not become a recurring problem. This will come in the way of Game Pass's goal of serving up
an accessible library of all-you-can-play titles. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be released on Friday,
October 28. Apart from PC, it will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One.
