19 shampoos recalled over cancer-causing ingredient Unilever announced a voluntary recall of 19 popular dry shampoo

aerosol products sold in the United States regarding benzene, a cancer-causing chemical. Classified as a human carcinogen

exposure to benzene according to American Health can occur through inhalation, skin contact. According to the Prevention 

Centers that humans come into contact with benzene every day solely through things like tobacco smoke detergent, 

 depending on the dosage and duration of exposure can be considered dangerous. Unilever said the company, 

which has been pulling the products very carefully, has not yet received any reports of incidents related to the recall.
